What started as a small drive to Mt. Baker every year has continued to grow over the years. 3 years ago, a few friends and I decided to promote a drive to Mt. Baker. It was fairly small but around 10-15 cars joined our group of friends. The second year, ImportMeet.com sponsored and promoted the event and we had over 60 cars attend. Since the weather last year was so horrible we decided to pick a date later in July this time. We couldn't have picked a better day than the 28th. Over 100 cars joined us for our drive to the top this year. Artist Point opened the week before which made it even more exciting.

Even though it was overcast in Bellingham, as we started to climb the mountain, sun started to break through the clouds. Once we reached the Heather Meadows overflow lot, the sun was shining and it continued for the rest of the day. Everything from an Ariel Atom to a small group of brand new FR-S's/BRZ's came along for the drive. At the top, free hot dogs and NOS Energy Drinks were provided to everyone in attendance.
V-LEDS helped sponsor the event this year and gave away swag and contributed prizes to the free raffle drawing (new this year). The grand prize was a $50 gift certificate to their website. They also brought along their Project Scion FR-S which will be featured on ImportMeet.com soon.
Even a dedicated drift car made it up for the drive. The beautiful views made for some great photo opportunities.
Throughout the day, people commented on how diverse a group we had. Many different makes and models of import cars (and some domestics) made it out for the drive.
Here's an excellent video put together by one of our members by the name of Adam Ruiz (TurboB13):
We would like to thank our sponsors this year for helping making this event a success:
NOS Energy Drink
V-LEDS
Northwest Vinyls
Make sure to check out Poirier Photography's website where you can purchase high quality prints of your car. As you can see in the gallery below, they took some great rolling shots as people drove up. If you were present, a photo of your car is probably on their website.
