The second round of the Evergreen Drift Pro-Am series was held on May 18, 2013 at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA. This time, the organizers of Evergreen Drift split up the Pro-Am and Grassroots competitions which made the Saturday event more manageable for everyone.
There were fewer drivers compared to round 1 with a total of 12 Pro-Am drivers competing. Even though there were fewer drivers than I expected to see, it was still a great competition and the judging was fair.
EVD 95 started later on in the afternoon which meant that by the end of the event, the drivers were relying on the lights of Evergreen Speedway to safely navigate the course.
Ian Fournier, the Canadian driver with the purple Skyline shown at the top of this post, managed to beat Cameron Moore in the final battle to take first place. Round 3 of the Evergreen Drift Pro-Am series will be on June 15, 2013.
EVD 95 Results:
1. Ian Fournier
2. Cameron Moore
3. Erich Hagen
