The first northwest Import Face-Off event for 2013 was held in Woodburn, Oregon last weekend. It was raining on and off throughout the morning, but the staff was able to dry the drag strip surface and have cars running by the middle of the day.

The car show had a variety of cars and clubs represented. As you can see in the photos below, there were quite a few enthusiasts from Washington that made the trek to Oregon.
As with most IFO events, there were some intense final drag racing battles towards the end. James Kempf from SpeedFactory Racing and Reid Lunde from Kaizenspeed (both from Washington) put on quite a show competing in the Forced Induction Pro category. Kempf ended up beating his number one qualifying time in the final race with an 8.282 at 185mph. This allowed the SpeedFactory/Competition Clutch Civic to take the Forced Induction Pro class.
Cole Marmon (in the SpeedFactory Racing/Vibrant Performance Civic) ran a new personal best of 8.89 at 174mph.
Next Sunday is Import Face-Off in Kent, WA at Pacific Raceways.
