On September 14, 2013 we held our annual end of summer car show at VLEDS in Bellingham, WA. The name of the show was changed this year to “Afterdark” to better describe the atmosphere of the event. We also decided to take things a step further by streaming Formula Drift Round 6 live at the show. Indoor and outdoor projectors were set up so that people at the show were able to follow what was happening in Texas.

There was an even bigger selection of cars and roughly double the number of spectators this year (estimated between 800-1000 throughout the night). Three IMSCC competitors were present at the show and were parked in the indoor section along with other handpicked cars. Once the sun went down, the event changed completely. Many cars that appeared to be mildly built in the daytime transformed at night.
Special thanks to VLEDS, Jsport, and Wilson Motors for sponsoring the event.
There were a total of 19 awards. With the exception of the Facebook People’s Choice, Best Lighting, Jsport’s Choice, and ImportMeet’s Choice, the winners of the awards were decided by the car show entries.
