This video was shared by 88dx on our forum and it features an LSX swapped Mazda RX-7 and a Kawasaki ZX-10 battling at Sandia Motorsports Park in New Mexico. It's definitely one of the more unique drifting videos I've seen. They even managed to use an RC car to capture some chase shots of the car and bike. The video was put together by ICON (a bike apparal manufacturer). Full resolution images from the drift day can be seen here: http://iconmotosports.net/2011/01/high-plains-drifters-desktops/

This film was shot by Abbitt Wilkerson of AWFILMS and showcases Walker Wilkerson's rookie Formula Drift season. Walker started drifting in the Pacific Northwest and has been an inspiration to many local drifters. Congratulations Walker on a great year and Abbitt for putting together an excellent video to end the year. Thanks to Jackson for sharing this great video from Canibeat's First Class Fitment 2011. The video was filmed by Jd Lazaro from TofuWreck Films. Be sure to show your support by "Liking" his page on Facebook.
This video was produced by Espen Wilhelmsen from BlackBoxMedia.no and it features Kenneth Moen drifting at Lysgårdbakkene in Lillehammer, Norway. Notice that Kenneth nearly drifts the entire hill climb! Thanks to SOARER2JZ for sharing it with us before it was all over the Internet.
This week we're featuring a video from a local S2000 owner that goes by the name of ALFYonso on S2KI. It contains some great track/drift footage along with some awesome freeway pulls. Nice job ALFYonso!
Drifting videos are definitely some of the most entertaining videos to watch on the Internet. Here's another great video from Loren Haleston. Loren shot and edited Pacific GP the Latest and the Greatest which was our last Video of the Week. Check out his page on Vimeo: http://vimeo.com/lorenhaleston.
Loren Haleston is a Film Production major at Portland State University who is quickly making a name for himself in the import car scene. WhiteS13 recently shared one of Loren's videos on the forum and it was so well done that we thought it deserved the title of Video of the Week. Be sure to check out Loren's Vimeo page and Facebook page for even more great videos and photos.
There's something about drifting at night that makes it even more entertaining to watch. I can't wait to attend Formula D this year as it will be first time at an actual drift event. Check out ASD Motorsport's site as they make parts for a wide variety of cars. If you want to see more of this stuff in person, come join us at the Formula D event in Monroe, WA on July 23rd.
